Overview

Mr. Jenkins Told Me everything has its place!

You like to keep things organized and logical, and you know how to sniff out inconsistencies.

How would you like to be our new Fleet Inventory Specialist?

Reading job descriptions can be a little overwhelming. Before you dive into the details, you want the big picture. Let us help!

  • You’ll receive great compensation, starting at $20.50/hour!
  • You'll work Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • You’ll keep inventory organized and consistent, and you’ll analyze the reason behind any inconsistencies.
  • You’ll pull inventory for truck swaps and will help keep record of materials.

All About YOU!

  • You’re organized and clean, and you know everything has its rightful place. You’ll be keeping accurate inventory on the trucks, from counting parts to inputting counts from technicians, so your top-notch organization and detail-orientation are vital!
  • You’re computer savvy. Excel, SAP, and other ERP systems are easy peasy for you! We use programs like these to maintain and reconcile stock counts in the database, so you’ll be right at home working here!
  • You’re assertive, but still approachable. When there are problems with inventory levels, you’ll catch it and address it with the people who can help you fix the problem. You’re a problem solver who can talk things out and reach a solution to make sure things continue to run smoothly.
  • You love counting and sorting. Some days, you’ll spend time counting little fittings from inside a truck, but that doesn’t bother you! You love organizing!
  • You know how inventory flows through a warehouse. You’re able to recognize when inventory flow is normal vs. when something isn’t right. You’re good at analyzing inventory statistics to spot trends and changes.

Responsibilities

As the Fleet Inventory Specialist:

  • You’ll work directly with the Fleet Coordinator to complete the inventory swap process between vehicles. Some techs sell more of certain parts than others. You’ll make sure trucks are stocked with the appropriate inventory based on demand.
  • You’ll pull inventory and develop ways to improve the inventory process.  You won’t just be counting inventory, you’ll figure out what’s going on when numbers aren’t right. You’ll be a detective! Try to analyze and track trends and get to the bottom of the inventory mystery!
    • If there are inventory processes that aren’t working, you’ll be able to make a difference and improve them! You’re an inventory mastermind who knows how to spot issues and resolve them, whether it’s human error or an entire process that needs to be revamped.
  • You’ll assist in regular counts on all service trucks. When it comes to inventory, accuracy is everything! You’ve got an eye for even the smallest details, so we know we can rely on you to account for everything and make sure inventory levels are maintained.
  • You’ll efficiently document and maintain fleet inventory procedures. Have you ever been to a restaurant where your food is cold by the time you get it? It’s so much better when you go somewhere and your hot food is delivered quickly! You know good work when you see it, and you pride yourself on being efficient.
