How would you like to be an Inside Sales Specialist?

We’re looking to fill a 10am-6:30pm shift!

Sometimes, we’ll have a residential specialist or a technician out to a customer’s house and the customer decides not to go with a repair or replacement. When they don’t get back to us within a few days, our Inside Sales Specialists jump in to recover the sale!

Your Role

As an Inside Sales Specialist:

  • You’ll contact customers via phone, email, chat, or text. You know how to explain complicated problems in ways that are easy to understand. You’re level-headed and easy to talk to, and that’s gonna go far here!  [AH1] [JP2] 
  • You’ll educate customers on repairs or replacement options. You know how stressful it can be when something is wrong with someone’s house, and you’re good at making people feel understood and taken care of!
  • You’ll finalize tickets and set up the next steps for sales. Whether the next step for the customer is to talk to sales, get a tech out to their home, or schedule an installation, you’ll make sure all the details are in place.
  • You’ll keep detailed records of customer interactions. The more details we have about a customer’s situation and decisions, the better we can help them later!

When you’re talking to a customer, you get to talk about how great Morris-Jenkins is and how we’re the right ones to solve their problems. You get a rush whenever you successfully overcome objections, and you know how to persuade people without being pushy.
  • You’ll be making over $100k (hourly plus commission).

  • You’re a great listener. This position is all about the details, and you’re great at picking the little things out of a conversation! This skill helps you give customers exactly the answers they need to feel good about a decision.
  • You’re patient and great at breaking things down so they’re easy to understand. The customers you’ll be calling are ones that we’ve visited, but that haven’t gone with a repair or installation we suggested just yet. You’ll help answer their questions and offer any additional information they might need to help them make an educated decision for their home.
  • You’re decisive, quick-thinking, and easy to talk to. You make customers feel at ease right away!
  • You like learning. If you’re gonna teach customers about the benefits of repairs and replacements, it’s a good idea to learn more about it yourself!

Qualifications

The Super-Fun HR Stuff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Inside Sales:

  • Exceptional sales closing and customer service skills with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills and persuasive charisma
  • Ability to manage sensitive and critical client information
  • Demonstrated competency in Windows based environment, Microsoft Excel, web-based applications, keyboarding proficiency, internet savvy and use of automated systems
  • Commitment to company values
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Inside Sales:

  • Advanced education or experience related to sales or our trades
  • At least three (3) years of sales experience
