  • You'll make $17/hr to start
  • You’ll be working Monday - Friday 6:30AM- 3:00PM 
  • You’ll be responsible for picking up parts and equipment from our warehouse or our vendor’s warehouse and delivering things to crews at various work sites.
  • You’ll assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.
  • You’ll drive a company vehicle and get a gas card.

Without parts runners, our crews would have to take time away from customers in order to go collect parts. You’ll be the hero who swoops in to deliver vital materials so the job can get done!

You’re the kind of person to always offers to help. As a parts runner, when you’re not picking up or delivering equipment, you’ll be in the warehouse helping out. You’re not the type to sit around. You’re great at motivating yourself to get stuff done!

You love learning new things and growing. When someone presents you with a challenge you’ve never faced before, you take the initiative to learn how to accomplish the task at hand. You aren’t discouraged easily, and you take every opportunity you can to grow.

Responsibilities

As a Parts Runner:

  • You’ll pick up and deliver parts and equipment. When a tech or plumber is helping a customer, you’ll bring any parts they might be missing. This way, we can help that customer and their family even faster!
  • You’ll maintain paperwork of parts and equipment delivered. We need your help to make sure we keep accurate records of our inventory so we can be ready for anything!
  • You’ll assist Warehouse Coordinators. When stuff needs to get done around the warehouse, you’ll be a part of with things such as cleaning the warehouse, helping put stock away, checking stock deliveries, and pulling orders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Forklift certification
  • Valid Driver’s License for at least 3 years and acceptable DMV record
  • Ability to navigate and drive a vehicle safely
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once
  • Requires efficiency and following procedures to ensure accurate inventory and the selection and loading of product
  • Basic computer competency skills
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) or more years of warehouse or logistics experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to traverse throughout the warehouse, office, and outside while operating a forklift, pallet jack, motor vehicle, and occasionally computer or other office equipment.  Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to access attic storage. Frequently moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to identify and inspect equipment and parts.

Mental Demands:  Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions in telephone conversations, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations.  Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. 

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the noise level is usually moderate. Occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions.  Must maintain confidentiality with customer information.

  • Additional hours are seasonally required and Holidays as needed
  • Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Acceptable criminal background record
  • Abstinence from drugs with clean drug screening results
  • Must have reliable attendance and flexible schedule availability
