Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to move about at customers’ homes inside tight crawlspaces and ascend/descend ladders lifting one’s own bodyweight through narrow entrances into attics. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely test, repair, and install electrical connections with precise hand-eye motor skills.
Mental Demands: Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.
Work environment: Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
